Make the scope comparable
List module quantity and model, inverter architecture, battery quantity, racking, monitoring, backed-up circuits, permits, engineering, delivery, labor, commissioning, and exclusions. A lower price with missing scope is not equivalent.
Review assumptions
Compare estimated production inputs, degradation, shade, utility escalation assumptions, and whether numbers are guarantees or estimates. Avoid unsupported savings promises.
Read commercial and service terms
Compare payment schedule, financing total cost, change orders, cancellation, delivery risk, workmanship coverage, manufacturer claims, monitoring support, and transfer terms. Verify installer licensing and insurance directly with relevant authorities. Request current options after defining your priorities.
